Affordable Housing is an important component in all plans for redevelopment.  Currently the Borough of Rutherford is responsible for creating 52 Affordable Units by 2025.  It is imperative that this debt be considered at the earliest stages of planning development as a whole – throughout the community --- in order to ensure these units can be met without sacrificing the tenets of the Master Plan and, therefore, the Quality of Life within the Borough.
